Hot Tub Do’s & Don’t’s

  • Shower before and after using your tub – this will remove oils, creams, lotions, makeup, tans etc. which will seriously affect the water quality if not removed
  • Use the toilet before entering – not leaving the hot tub to use the toilet will seriously affect the quality of water
  • Limit your time – to a maximum of 15 minutes, extended use can cause dizziness
  • Take care when entering or exiting the tub – decking can become slippery when wet
  • Don’t allow children under the age of 14 to use the hot tub
  • Don’t add anything – bubble bath, shampoo, gels, soaps, oils, salts etc. these can seriously affect the quality of the water and filter system and will result in your BOND BEING FORFEITED
  • Don’t immerse your head or swallow the water – this can increase the risk of infection
  • Don’t exceed the maximum number of people – 6
  • Don’t place candles near the tub – candle wax can damage the filter system
  • Misuse of the hot tub will result in YOUR BOND BEING FORFEITED
  • Don’t rest any glasses on or nearby the hot tub – broken glass is almost invisible under water. Any glass within the vicinity of the hot tub will result in the tub being drained. To ensure no glass is in the hot tub and will result in your BOND BEING FORFEITED
  • Don’t use any electrical equipment in the vicinity of the hot tub
  • Don’t use if you have any – skin, ear, genital or other body infections, open sores, or wounds.
  • Consult your GP Before Using The Hot Tub – if you are pregnant, suffering from any form of heart disease, circulation problems or any other serious illness
  • Don’t sit, stand or lie on the lid – they are not very strong. If a replacement is required you will be invoiced for a replacement and your BOND BEING FORFEITED
  • Respect your neighbours
  • After your session – please use the hose provided to fill to the required level.
  • Replace the lid after use
  • Contact the agent – if you have any concerns or problems
